MichaelIKINPeacefully passed away after a short illness on Wednesday 4th November 2020 at the RSUH, Michael, aged 73 years, of Audley. Much loved Dad of Becky and Claire. Treasured Grandad of George, Tommy, Katie, Sam and Harry. Now reunited with his parents, John and Phyllis. Mick will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him. Due to Covid restrictions a private family funeral service will take place at Audley Methodist Church followed by interment at 'God's Acre' (Bignall End Cemetery) on Thursday 26th November at 1.00pm. Family flowers only please. Any donations in memory of Mick are gratefully received to Cancer Research UK. I knew Michael when we were teenagers, he was at Newcastle High School and I was at the Orme Girls School. I saw him play cricket for Bignall End many times with Rod Cornes, Bob Furnival etc and he was a fun friend to have. Happy and treasured memories
