Dear Pat & Family,

It is with very great sadness that I have just learnt of Malcolm’s passing and I would like to offer you my sincerest condolences.

As you are aware Malcolm and I both spent all our working lives at Douglas Equipment both joining as apprentices in the early 1960’s. We enjoyed an excellent working relationship working on many projects and undertaking many trips together. Malcolm was a great and very talented engineer and designer and will be remembered for many of the projects he worked on and in particular the DOUGLAS range of towbarless aircraft handling tractors which he developed and which resulted in DOUGLAS becoming the worldwide market leader in a very short period of time.

Malcolm will be will be greatly missed and forever remember by all of us that knew him and worked with him.

My thoughts are with you all at this very sad time,

Sincerely,

Mike
