To my beautiful Dad.
I love you so much, and miss you more than anyone will ever understand.
The amount of people who attended your funeral yesterday was a tribute to what an amazing man you were.

Alex was a wonderful character who we all had the pleasure of knowing and seeing almost daily. His cheeky wit combined with his daily opinion on what was going on north of the border was always a highlight of all our days. You were a cherished member of Brough Park and brought great joy and generosity to us all. You will be missed not just by the people you knew you a lot but by the people who knew you a little and that I think is the greatest compliment that I can give. Thank you for everything Alex. We will remember you.
