It was with shock and much sadness that I heard about the passing of Russ. I, like Russ spent much time at Kingsholm followed by an after match drink in the Avenue where we would congregate to drown our sorrows. I also remember our trips abroad to follow Glaws playing in cup games particularly train trips to France and late night sessions in the local bars. I will always hold fond memories of Russ and the time that we spent together. Rest in peace Butty. John K
