The obituary notice of Charles Chuka IWOBI

Tribute in Honour of a Real Gentleman:
Engr. Charles Chuka Iwobi.

The news of your death was met with mixed emotions. However our creator decides when to call home his own. Genuine people are hard to come by and you are one of them.
The real meaning of “call to duty” is found in you during your public service as commissioner in the old Anambra State of Nigeria. While most people in our country see public office as an opportunity to amass fortune, yours was a selfless devotion to the people. It is therefore not surprising that in recognition of your dedication and integrity, the Samson Emeka Omeruah administration in the old Anambra State of Nigeria retained you as a commissioner when all other commissioners were removed.
During my encounter with you, I observed humility, attention to duty, and selflessness, which by extension has enabled the enlargement of individuals who worked with you as well as those that associated with you. These attributes made you outstanding in the face of quality. Thanks for being who you were.
As extension of your attributes, I experienced the value of true friendship from your son, Dr. Oseloka Iwobi, who sponsored my wedding in the Catholic Church with his wife, Dr. Mrs Nse Iwobi.
You have played your part on earth and that is worthy of emulation. The peace of the Lord be and go with you to your final resting place. Amen.
