ElizabethJACK(née Blinkhorne) (Liz) Liz Jack, age 84, passed away peacefully in the care of Gloucester Royal Hospital. A pioneering mind, dedicated educator, and beloved genealogist, Liz lived a remarkably full life defined by curiosity, intellect, and strong family & community ties. She was deeply loved by so many. Liz was a loving mother, auntie and grandmother, and head of the mathematics and computing department at Churchdown School Academy. In retirement, Liz became a local authority and author in Gloucestershire Genealogy, and a regular contributor at the Gloucestershire Archives and GFHS. Liz was known for always being willing to help anybody, and she brought the skills todo it.
Her celebration of life will be at the Gloucester Crematorium at 10:30a.m. on Tuesday, November 3rd. In typical Liz fashion she requested a colourful affair of happiness; no need for mourning attire.
