Grandad, To say I miss you is an understatement. 3 weeks today our world changed forever and It’s so selfish to want you back because I know how much you were suffering but our hearts are broken without you.

You would be so proud of my mum and dad they sorted your shed out for you in record time though we had to ask peter what half of it was because we didn’t have a clue and the whole time I could here you in my head saying ‘don’t chuck that out it might come in handy’.

I’m sorry we weren’t there when you left us, ten minutes later and we would have been. Ryan was on his way too but I guess you were so very tired. I am glad my dad was with you though as I know he was part of your A-team and you wouldn’t have wanted to be on your own. It gives me some consolation knowing that you got to be at home and that we were able to look after you the best way we knew how, even when it was so hard to see you so poorly knowing we couldn’t make it better.

I hope wherever you are now that it is nice and you are free from pain. I hope my Nanna is with you and keeping you in line you must have missed each other so much, please tell her we love and miss her too. I hope laddie and Bonnie are there, they would be so excited to see you, don’t forget they will need plenty of walks.

Meeko misses you too Grandad 🐾 he looks for you so we have to give him biscuits instead. Now he weighs 9lb!!!

Love you always gdad
