JanetJACKSON(née Beaty) (Whitley Bay) Peacefully on the 14th April 2020, aged 94 years. Janet beloved wife of the late Fred, a much loved cousin of Alec, a cherished aunt to Stephen, Susan, Paul, Christine, Catherine, Charles, Pauline and Keith. A private cremation will take place at Whitley Bay Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired to the PDSA.

I seemed to have known Janet forever as her husband Fred and my father George worked together at Parsons. I will miss going to Whitley Bay and our coversations. She was a one off, such an interesting lady whether talking about her teaching or her life and travels with Fred and don't forget her love of driving and the parrots.

I have known Janet all my life and my Mum Dorothy has been Janet’s friend for 77 years. They went to teacher training college during the war and remained close friends ever since. Janet had a special place in my family’s heart and we will miss her. The world was a richer and brighter place for her being in it.
