PaulJACOBSDr Paul Barrie Jacobs, passed peacefully on June 1st, surrounded by the love of his family and the gentle care of Malthouse Care Home, Gillingham. He is now reunited with his wife of 61 years, Mary, who departed in October of 2022. He leaves behind son Andrew and his wife Anne, his grandchildren Hugh, Margaret, Virginia and Lillian, and his sister Jill and her husband Simon. Each of us misses him sorely. Barrie Jacobs had a gentle and caring heart. He was generous with his time and care for his many patients in and around Gillingham whom he served as their doctor for over 30 years until 1993. The funeral service will be held at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Fotherby Crescent, Salisbury, SP1 3EG on Wednesday 5th July 2023 from 1.00pm. Family Flowers only however the family welcome donations in memory of Barrie to The Cystic Fibrosis Trust and can be sent to Bracher Brothers, Newbury, Gillingham, Dorset, SP8 4QL.
