Karen AmandaJAMESPeacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family and close friends, on 16th July 2026, Karen Amanda James, affectionately known as Amanda, aged 57 years, suddenly passed away.
A much loved and devoted Mam to Carla, Rhiannon, Jodie, Abby, Shaunna, Elle and Leah, and a cherished Nanny to Kaylum, Koby, Tommy, Elsie and Covie (Chinka), and a loving Nanny to the little grandson she was so looking forward to meeting. Amanda will be deeply missed by all her family, friends, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Amanda will be leaving the family home at 11:30am on Thursday, 13th August 2026, before making her way to James Summers Funeralcare, Newport Road, where she will then be taken by horse and carriage to Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill, where her funeral service will be held at 1:30pm.
All who knew and loved Amanda are warmly welcome to attend. The family kindly request traditional attire with a pop of colour in celebration of Amanda's life.
