Dr RonJAMESON(Long serving GP of Golcar ) Ron Jameson, aged 96 died peacefully at home on 26th May.

Born in Banbury, he trained in medicine at Kings College Hospital London and became a highly respected and loved GP in Golcar, where he lived with his wife, Jess, and daughters Pippa and Susie from 1955 until he retired in 1988. After retirement he continued his long standing service as a magistrate, and his service as an active member of Gideons International and of Lindley Evangelical Church. His Christian faith underpinned all his activities.

A service of thanksgiving for his long life and for the helpful contributions he made to the lives of many others will be held at Bradley St Thomas Church, St Thomas Gardens, Bradley on Friday 28th June at 12.30. Will friends please accept this as the only intimation. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Bradley St Thomas Church to assist their work in the community and in providing Bible teaching material for small groups. A plate for donations will be provided at the service or c/o The Taylor Funeral Service.
