John WilliamJAMIESONOn 10/3/2024 John Jamieson age 76, husband of Susan (deceased), passed away quietly, peacefully, pain free, in his arm chair in the company of his devoted daughter Angela and eldest grandson Lawrence. This was following a short illness. Without question God was merciful and for that we give thanks.
In his last 8 weeks John was surrounded by love and peace in the presence of his Children Angela and Steven, their partners Paul and Sarah, and his precious Grandchildren Lawrence, Oliver, and Isobel. This gave John a great deal of comfort and peace. John's Grandchildren brought him happiness and joy and he was incredibly proud of them.
Never forgotten and forever will be missed. John's kindness and dry sense of humour will last with us forever.
John's mantra was "the best is yet to come". This is how he perceived the prospect of passing.
Rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.
Sincere thanks St Luke's Hospice community team for the exemplary care, and compassion to John and the family. We extend thanks also to all Marie Curie staff, special thanks to Sam and Lisa who nursed John in his final days. Thanks also to District Nurse Lianne.
The funeral will be held at Weston Mill Crematorium on the 5th April at 10am.
