It is with great sadness that Stacey, Carl and Sara announce the passing of Kim, their much-loved mum, who sadly passed away suddenly on Friday, 4th October 2024.

A loving daughter of Yvonne and Billy and a dear sister of Siân and Wayne. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Kim has been a mum to be proud of and a nana who lived her life for her grandchildren. She was “One of the Gang”! Jasmine, Richie, Lacey, Betsi, Delilah, Blu and Rudi had one of the most fun loving, dedicated playmates anyone could wish for and they were her reason for getting up in the morning.

Kim’s funeral will take place on Friday 8th November 2024, with a service to celebrate and honour her life at Llandingat Church, Llandovery at 11.30am, followed by cremation at Llanelli Crematorium at 2pm.

There will be family flowers only and donations will be welcomed towards Llandovery Fire Station or Wales Air Ambulance and will be kindly received by IC & SM Davies Funeral Directors, Britannia House, Llandovery, SA20 0DD. Tel 01550 720636

Following the Church service refreshments will be served at The Kings Head Inn, Llandovery, where the family will join you to share unforgettable memories.

The family wish to thank the local community for their amazing love and support and give special thanks to the Llandovery Fire Brigade, The Ambulance Services, Wales Air Ambulance and the team of Doctors and Staff at Glangwili Hospital for their dedicated care and valiant efforts. Thank you all.

“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day,
unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear”.
