Melvyn John WilliamJAYSPassed away peacefully at home on Monday 12th February Aged 72 years. Devoted husband to Liz. Cherished dad to Tim, Jen and Rob. Adored grandad to Eilidh, Holly, Matthew, Edward, Freddy and Emmett. Much loved brother to Carole and uncle to Claire and Steven. Will be greatly missed by us all. Funeral Service to be held on Monday 11th March at 11.50am at Lincoln Crematorium. The family would welcome all who wish to join them for a reception at International Bomber Command afterwards. All my love to Mel's family, friends and loved ones. An amazing physics teacher although he actually taught my class and I mathematics at kshs around '00:) Always funny, warm & generous to everyone - he made jokes and encouraged me whenever he saw me about the school too! He was the first to check in on people and help with everything. Grateful our paths crossed what a truly lovely person and I know his memory will continue to inspire many people also as he did:) ✨

Still think about Mel and his great teaching, mentoring and later, friendship. No one ever wanted to let him down so he got the best out of everyone. RIP Mel,
