Vera VeronicaJEMMOTTPassed away peacefully at home on 2 March 2025. Vera, aged 85, was the widow of beloved Otha Seymour Jemmott. Loving mother to Trevor, Rodney, Claudia, Angie and Wavney. An adored grandmother to Theodore, Isobel, Hannah, Mikayla and Otis. Dear mother-in-law to Kate, Karen and Andy. A cherished member of the extended families, friends, near and far. Vera will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Funeral service to take place at St Chad's Parish Church on Thursday, 27 March 2025 at 12.00pm followed by Rochdale Crematorium at 1.20 pm.

A gathering of family and friends for a meal and drinks, will commence after the service in celebration of Vera's life.

Smart dress attire by request please.

Flowers are welcome but donations to the Salvation Army would be much appreciated, www.salvationarmy.org.uk/ memory/funeral-collection

I will always remember the warmth and kindness Vera showed me when we met. She had a grace about her that left a lasting impression—gentle, dignified, and welcoming.

My heart goes out to the entire Jemmott family during this time of loss. To Trevor, Rodney, Claudia, Angie, Wavney, and all the grandchildren—please accept my deepest condolences. I know Vera’s love and legacy lives on through each of you.
