Barrie EarnestJENKINSIt is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barrie on 27th January 2024 a much loved partner, brother and uncle. A talented and creative musician formerly the drummer with The Nashville Teens and The Animals.
The funeral will be at 12.30 for 1pm on Monday 19th February at Margate Cemetery.

All donations via Noble Funeral Directors, Broadstairs, Kent to The Pancreatic Cancer Society.

I’m so sorry to hear of Barry’s passing. I bought several guitars from him over the years and enjoyed the times spent with him in his shop. He was always welcoming and would make a brew. It was always great to hear his anecdotes from his illustrious past. Rest in peace my friend.

Barrie, you were well and truely immersed in the wild times and music of the 1960’s as a drummer for the Nashville Teen and then with the Animals.
You were also the chosen session drummer for many of the USA bluesmen who came to London during that period and appeared on their albums.
R.I.P. your musical legacy will continue ….. your beat goes on. Paddy
