Two years on since Robert sadly passed away. A great musician and a great friend to many people not just in Gowerton but around the U.K. and beyond through his career in music with Yamaha and the London College of Music. He loved socialising with his wide circle of friends, especially Julie, Liz, Vicki and Dean; his friends from his schooldays; from Nomad in Gowerton, and his 2nd cousin Richard from Cardiff. He was a brilliant lunch companion and looked on many of these close friends as the brothers and sisters he never had.

Although it has been two years it feels like yesterday. Chris and I miss the frequent chats we used to have and our regular visits to Gowerton. We think of Robert often.

Two years have passed since Robert left us, yet his memory remains vivid in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Today, we remember him with affection, gratitude, and a sense of the lasting mark he made on our lives. We cherish the memories of his kindness, his character, his humour, and the many moments shared with family and friends over the years. Though time has passed, he is still missed every day, and his presence is felt in the stories we tell, the memories we hold dear, and the love that endures. On this anniversary, we pause to honour Robert's life and to remember with warmth and gratitude the person he was and the place he will always hold in our hearts.

Two whole years have passed, and not a day goes by that we don’t think of you — and smile, even through the sadness. Your laugh, your mischief, and all those wonderful antics that lit up every family gathering are still so vivid in our hearts. You brought such energy, fun, and joy to everyone around you, and life just isn’t quite the same without you here.

You are so dearly loved, and so deeply missed by your family— more than words can say. We hold every memory close, and you remain forever part of us.

With all our love,
Richard & Aunty Margaret
