It is with great sadness that we as a family announce the sad passing of our beloved Stephen.

Much loved partner of Rhiannon, doting father of Mabli, loved and adored son of Dyfrig and Karen, cherished grandson of Desna and Marlene and the late Glenn and Frank, dear nephew of Jeff and Dylan, fond cousin of Nicholas and Christopher, exceptional son in law of Roger and Mair and a supportive friend of Rhys as to many others.

Funeral on Monday 21st October, service at Llanelli Crematorium at 3.00pm. Stephen was a passionate Scarlets and Welsh Rugby fan and his family would like you to wear a splash of red, a rugby tie or any rugby jersey. Those of you who knew Stephen well will appreciate no England rugby shirts. (We hope this has made his friends smile.) There is an invitation to join the family after the funeral service at The Red Lion, Llandybie for refreshments and to celebrate Stephen's life.

Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, if so desired will be collected for different children's charities as this was close to Stephen's heart. These will be kindly received by the Funeral Directors, Hywel Griffiths and Son or through the Just Giving link: justgiving.com/crowdfunding/stephen-jenkins. Please make cheques payable to Hywel Griffiths and Son.

From the minute I met you Stephen, I knew you were special. You answered my WhatsApp call for assistance during the pandemic and helped lift our elderly neighbour Dennis up off the floor after he had fallen. You again returned a few weeks later when he fell again. Many were hiding from any avoidable contacts during that fearful time, but not you, you helped anyone who needed assistance. Your happy friendly face has been a regular pleasure to see on our street, always a joy to meet. You, Rhiannon, Barty and then Mabili have been such a treasure to us all. We will all miss you so much but we will look after Rhiannon, Mabili and Barty with the same care, and consideration that you gave us all. Rest in Peace Stephen
You will always be in our hearts and fondest memories

Jenks, you will be hugely missed. It's almost hard to describe the happiness you brought to everyone who was privileged enough to meet you. You always had a smile on your face and it was infectious. You may be gone from us but you will live on in everyone's memory who met you. Rest in peace brother
