JILL FOSTERRemembering Jill Foster who died at her Shropshire home, which was deliberately set on fire on 26 August, 2008.Mrs Foster, 49, died as a result of a gunshot wound to the head and a murder investigation was launched following the discovery of her body at Osbaston House in Maesbrook, near Oswestry, three days afterthe fire.Mrs Foster's husband Christopher, a millionaire businessman, was also found dead in the burnt-out country mansion. A third body, thought to be that of their 15-year-old daughter, Kirstie, was removed from the house on 1 September, 2008.Police said they believed Mr Foster, 50, had killed his wife and daughter before setting fire to the mansion in the early hours of the morning and then killing himself. The family had been to a friend's barbecue the night before theblaze.Mr Foster made his fortune developing insulation technology for oil rigs. However, his Telford-based company, Ulva Limited, went into liquidation last year.Special prayers were said for the Foster family at a service in St John's Church, Maesbrook on the Sunday following the incident.

Dear Jill and Kirstie,

I never knew you or your beautiful daughter Kirstie but i was very moved by this awful tradegy.I really hope on that dreadful night you and kirstie were fast asleep and felt no pain when you were taken from the people who loved you.I know you are both together now along with your horses, dogs and the angels looking after you.I know everyone who knew you miss you every second of everyday and cant wait to see your faces again and i believe they will.Sleep well and in peace.

Jill, I didn't know you or your family, but as a mother of a 14 year old daughter who is much like your daughter, my heart aches for what happened to you.

I'm sure your husband wasn't in his right mind when he did this.

I can't imagine how it must have been that night, all we can hope for is that you and Kirstie were unaware of what happened.

I've left a message for your daughter Kirstie - I've cried for days for you both.

I really hope there is a heaven and I also hope Kirstie is by your side.

A mum x x
