Very fond memories of John and his lovely family who became "my family" for one of my best and happiest years when I had the privilege of staying with them as an au-pair in 1976/77. Rest in peace dear John.

We (Paul Minett & Brian Leveson) were creators and writers of 'The Piglet Files' a sitcom that ran for 3 series in the early 90's. John Ringham (or Lord Ring Of Ham as he was often referred to) was an integral part of the acting troupe and endeared himself to one and all by his avuncular manner, overwhelming enthusiasm and perpetual good humour. It was a priviledge to have known him as a colleague and later as a good and supportive friend. We miss him a lot
