Irene AliceJOHNPeacefully on Thursday 11th February 2021, at home, Irene aged 101, of Wimmerfield Avenue, Killay. Beloved wife of the late James, much loved and cherished mum of Alison. Irene will be sadly missed by all who loved her. Funeral Thursday 25th February cremation at Swansea Crematorium. Due to Covid restrictions attendance is by invite only. Procession to leave Wimmerfield Avenue at 10.15 a.m. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Irene can be made payable directly to SPICE and sent to Jayne Trew, West Hub, Civic Centre, Swansea, SA1 3SN. Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear mother, Irene. I have fond memories of Irene going back many years. It was lovely to have spent time with Irene when Denzil, Sophia and I visited her for tea in 2019 and enjoyed reminiscing with her about the good old days in Killay. I will always appreciate the loyal friendship and support Irene gave to my mother Eilena especially during the time when my mum was housebound. Alison, you were always so caring and devoted to your mother alongside running a busy practice.
Irene will be sadly missed.
