ArthurJOHNSONOn August 31st 2018, suddenly in hospital, aged 74 years and of Prestwich, the much loved and adored husband of Jean, treasured dad of Mandy, Simon, Sara and Beckie, loving father-in-law to Mandy and Matt, beloved gramps and great gramps, loved brother of Ann and the late George and dear uncle to Tina, Angela, Jacqueline and families "God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you, and whispered, "Come with me". With tearful eyes we watched you, slowly fade away. Although we love you dearly, we would not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best." A Funeral Service and committal will take place on Thursday 20th September 2018, at Agecroft Crematorium at 3:00pm. Family flowers by request, donations preferred to "The British Heart Foundation".
