Jacqueline SusanJOHNSON(née Bower) Aged 72 years of Stafford, sadly passed away on 5th February after a short illness. Daughter of the late John & Kath Bower, loved companion of Roy, cherished Mum of Mark, Mother-in-law of Tammie, treasured Nana of Euan, adored Sister of Steve & Chelle (Michelle), Sister-in-law of the late Mandy & Aunty of Charlotte & Sarah. Adored by all her family & friends, Sue was a former well respected staff member at Stafford Borough Council & was a Women's Royal Naval Service member. A Service of Thanksgiving for Sue's life will take place at Christ Church, Ash near Whitchurch (SY13 4EA) on Tuesday 1st March at 11am followed by interment at the Churchyard. However, Sue's family would like her friends to know even if you are unable to attend the Church Service you are all welcome to join them for refreshments afterwards at the Bird In Hand Restaurant (ST16 2AQ) from 1pm onwards where the celebration for Sue's life will be continued. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, in memory of Sue for The Association of Wrens may be placed in the collections box at the Service or via Ian Watts & Son Funeral Directors, tel: 01291 420972 for more information, (including Service webcast details). The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the Staff at Stafford County & Stoke University Hospitals who cared for Sue with such kindness and compassion.
