BarbaraJOHNSONBarbara was a much loved and respected teacher at Brimrod Primary School where she taught Junior 2 children and music for the whole school before retiring in 1990. She then worked as a library assistant and volunteered with Rochdale Talking Newspapers where she became Chair. A keen musician and singer she sang with Huddersfield Choral Society and Performed regularly for many years. She was happily married to the late Derek Johnson for over 60 years and was Beloved Mother to Claire, Richard, Sally and Paul and Grandma to Patrick, Ellie, Ezra, Dan, Grace and Alfie. She died at home on Tuesday 28th June. Funeral Service to be held at Bamford Chapel on Thursday 21st July at 1.00pm.
