You won't find many nicer people than AVJ, as he was affectionately known by those of us from at Shiremoor Neeb

My amazing Dad, you always will be my hero. You never complained about anything in life. You had so much love, time and patience for everyone. So selfless in every way. You were so lovely, kind and generous. A true gentleman. You loved driving your car. You made our family complete. You were my best friend. You always knew what to say and do when times got tough. I had the most magical childhood anyone could ever wish for. You continued being a superhero for Sienna too, who absolutely adored you. Thank you for always being there for her growing up. Such a great dad, grandad. There are not enough words to describe how fantastic you really were. A total legend, who will never be forgotten. No one could ever fill your shoes. You will always be in my thoughts. I miss you. I can’t imagine life without you. I’m absolutely devastated.
