I knew Reg for a short time and what a gentleman he was! Such a high spirited gent who always had a smile for you. I was upset to hear you had passed Reg. Gone but never forgotten.

Mr Johnson was my Geography teacher when I was at Halmerend County Secondary School as it was called in the 1950's and have seen him in the Audley Players' Theatre productions on occasions throughout the years since then. He will be sadly missed by all of us who knew him in the Audley area and beyond. My condolences to his family, may he rest in peace. Yvonne Smith (nee Hall)

Bignall End cricketer, school master and leader in setting up and running the Audley theatre group. Well respected by all and looked up to by younger members of the family as a role model. I recall happy memories of your early life with Aunty Maud and Uncle Tom at the top of Boon Hill. Rest in peace Reg.

May I say what a honour it has been to Know Reg over the years. He was my English/Drama teacher at Halmerend Secondary and Friend at Audley Theatre. His performances on stage as Panto Dame were fantastic and he always had the audiences in stitches.

He will be greatly missed In and around Audley Parish. My condolences to his lovely wife Pauline. .

May You Rest in Peace
Reg.
