BettyJOHNSONPeacefully at rest after a short illness at Ash Hall Nursing Home on 4th November 2023, Betty aged 89 years of Basford, now reunited with her husband Stan, the love of her life. A loving and much loved mum to her daughter Jackie and her husband Roger, a sadly missed aunty, sister in law and friend to many.

Funeral service at St Mark's Church, Basford on Thursday 7th December at 1.30pm, followed by cremation at Bradwell Crematorium. Will relatives and friends kindly meet at the church.

No flowers by request please, donations would be appreciated for the UHNM charity for the Neonatal Unit at the RSUH.

Dear Betty, I was so sad to hear that you'd passed away. Even though I was your carer for a while it always felt like I was just visiting you for a chat more than anything else...How we used to fit so many conversations in to such a short space of time I'll never know.
I will always remember you as an independent, kind person who was young at heart with a great sense of humour. I will also always treasure the paper flowers and the knitted coat hangers that you gave to me last Christmas...Every time I look at them I will always think of you 🩷

My thoughts are with Jackie and Roger who Betty absolutely adored! I'm so sorry for your loss.
