John, you were always so good to me, and great company for all of us. You took me to my first West Brom match, and to the cricket at Edgbaston many times. I always enjoyed meeting up with you, and discussing both sports at length. Rest in peace.

John, you were one in a million. Thankyou for being my “Big Bro”. We loved you, and always will. Catherine, Roy, Melissa, krystle, Stewart, Jonathan, and Anthony. X

Uncle John, I will miss hearing your stories of travelling. I admire how you never stopped exploring the world, and always encouraged me to do the same. You often said to take risks, reap the rewards later, and find a good ale along the way. You were well accustomed to the best Birmingham pubs and restaurants. But you didn't mind trying the odd hipster Mexican place with us every now and then. It was fun to be your occasional IT support person. And a joy to hear you play your harmonica. We can all learn from your unparalleled devotion to friends and family. Thank you for being in our lives, and for the memories.

John you were such a lovely lovely man. And an amazing husband to your soul mate Bernie, the love of your life. I have so many fond memories of spending time with you and Bernie at the cricket in recent years. It was an absolute privilege to have known you. Rest in peace John

There are few people in this life that touch the lives of others as you have John. You were a true gentleman as everyone who knew you can attest to. You were kind , and it was always a good place, and a privilege, to be in your company. So glad we got to spend that time together with you and Bernie when you came to Adelaide.
