AlexanderJOHNSTONEAlex (ex Courtaulds) passed away peacefully on 27th June surrounded by his family and whilst in the care of Lindsey Hall Care Home, Cleethorpes aged 86 years. Devoted and loving husband of Sandra for over 62 years, loving dad of Caroline and her partner Andy, much loved brother of Terry and the late Ruth, loving brother in law of Diane and Eileen, dear uncle and great uncle. Alex was a great friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A service to celebrate Alex's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 14th July at 2.15pm. By request family flowers only please but if so desired donations may be made in Alex's memory to Alzheimer's Research UK, www.alzheimersresearchuk.org/ All enquiries to Co op Funeralcare, 55 Abbey Road, Grimsby, DN32 0HN.
