So very sorry to hear of Glan's passing. Saw him pass daily with his dog on the way for his paper. Knew Glan for more than 30 years having worked for Merthyr Education Dept. Remember him always with a kind and friendly smile.

We remember Glan with great affection, especially from our time in Dowlais from 1976 to 1986. As Rector I was always welcomed into his schools for assemblies and to address the children. However our fondest memories are of the welcome our elder daughter always received from Glan and Chris in their home in Royal Crescent. Happy days! Having settled in North Wales we occasionally find ourselves in Bethesda and invariably think of Glan. I remember tòo having a personal tour of St Fagan's Folk museum conducted with great enthusiasm by him.
Llewyrched goleuni gwastadol arno, a bydded i'w enaid gorffwys mewn hedd.
