EileenJONESof Hillcrest, Stacksteads, died peacefully at home on Thursday, November 14, aged 75. Born in Blackpool, she moved to Rossendale in the 1960s and was employed at J A Taylors Car Sales in Waterfoot for many years as a car valeter, her last employment being at Lambert Howarth's in Burnley. Eileen enjoyed shopping, watching TV and smoking. She leaves her husband of 49 years, Bryan (Pedro), children Inman, Bryn, Adrian and Amanda, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Joan, niece Helen and her husband Graham and many friends. A service was held at the chapel of rest on Tuesday, November 26 at 9.40am, followed by cremation at Burnley at 10.30am, conducted by Peter Goulding.
