I was recently looking at a letter from Gwen a few years ago when I first emigrated. I was deputy accompanist to Joan Doorbar some years ago, and have been a professional musician for the past two decades creating music programs for people with memory loss and dementia illnesses. Gwen and Wilf always encouraged me, rest in peace good and faithful servants.

Gwen was a simply wonderful lady who demonstrated the highest qualities of a person, and was full of love and empathy. I know she will be missed by many, and that she positively impacted countless students, family, and friends.
