KathleenJONES(nee Ball) (formerly of Sand Cliff Rd, Swadlincote) Peacefully in Heather Grange Care Home, Burnley, on March 30th, 2020, Kathleen, aged 88 years, beloved wife of the late Keith, dear mother of Christine and husband Ted, cherished nana of Emma and Jonathan, great nana to Theo and Eloise. A private family service will be held at Burnley Crematorium, on Thursday, 9th April. Donations in lieu of flowers please can be sent direct to Parkinson's Disease Society. While sad to hear of Kathleen’s passing I have so very many happy memories of past times spent in her company. We taught together at both Eureka & Belmont Street Infant schools in South Derbyshire. We had so much fun & joy within our working environment. ....& with social activities too. Kathleen’s musical expertise & family musical background were paramount to this. She was a wonderful & caring headteacher. I send my love & deepest sympathies to Christine, Ted & their families.
