Now at peace with the Lord and reunited with her late husband, Alfred Jones. Funeral service at Hawkinge Crematorium on Thursday 2nd December at 12.30pm. Ivy was a lovely, generous person, with a deep, educated faith in Jesus Christ. It was a privilege to know her. A few people met in her little flat at St Clement’s Court to celebrate Holy Communion on the first Tuesday of every month during the early years of the century (until I left the parish in 2011). They were always joyful and cheerful occasions. I remember Ivy - and Alf, her husband, who pre-deceased her, with great gladness. May she rest in peace.
