Ivy Clara FredericaJONES9th April 1925 - 17th November 2021. Passed away in her sleep at St Margaret's nursing home, Hythe. Now at peace with the Lord and reunited with her late husband, Alfred Jones. Funeral service at Hawkinge Crematorium on Thursday 2nd December at 12.30pm. Ivy was a lovely, generous person, with a deep, educated faith in Jesus Christ. It was a privilege to know her. A few people met in her little flat at St Clement’s Court to celebrate Holy Communion on the first Tuesday of every month during the early years of the century (until I left the parish in 2011). They were always joyful and cheerful occasions. I remember Ivy - and Alf, her husband, who pre-deceased her, with great gladness. May she rest in peace.
