Sydney Obe, BaJONESPassed away peacefully on April 22nd. He was 85. Born in a London workhouse himself, Sydney dedicated his life to helping disadvantaged young people, giving them a better chance to fulfil their potential. Principal of Polebrook House, Botcheston, from 1973 to 1984, and latterly the Brigade Secretary of The Boys Brigade until retirement in 2002. Much loved by sons Michael & Tim, daughters in law Bev & Carmen, and grandchildren Callum, Harry, Ross, Amelia, Imogen & Max. Cremation at Gilroes Leicester at noon on Tuesday June 7th 2022.
