Rodney ThomasJONES30th June 2023 Suddenly but peacefully in hospital of Tan-y-Bryn, Greenfield aged 66 years. Dear brother to Denise and David, and a much loved Uncle. Funeral service at Holy Trinity Church, Greenfield on Thursday 27th July at 10.00am followed by committal at Pentrebychan Crematorium. Only just heard of Rod’s passing when trying to contact him to arrange lunch for a long-overdue CDHT catch-up after I had coffee with him in May 2023. Such a gentle and astute man, so knowledgeable and a good laugh. RIP Rod.

Got to know Rod from our early singing days in Flint Male Voice Choir, Rod eventually going on to conduct the choir to victory in two National Eisteddfods. A true gentleman, whose knowledge of music was second to none.
