David WilliamJONESUnexpectedly but peacefully, we lost the best Dad and Grandad to have existed on Saturday 27th April.
A dearly loved, treasured and devoted Dad, David William Jones, aged 55, passed away at his home and leaves behind his four children, Josh, Maisie, Maddie and Leo, and his beloved Grandsons, William and Henry; with another grandchild due in December. He is also the loving long-term partner and soulmate to Debbie and cherished Father-in-Law to Laura and Josh.
David is also remembered as a much-loved younger brother to Mark, Liz and their respective partners, Bette and Mick. As well as an immensely kind and compassionate Uncle to Jo, Tom and Jess, and Great Uncle to their children. With his family, Dave shared a lifelong, through thick and sometimes very thin, love and support of Stoke City FC. Dave was a true supporter in every sense; he was consistent and dedicated, and was always keen to adopt a positive and optimistic outlook.
Many may remember, or recognise David, from his 36 years of NHS service as a Psychiatric Nurse, most recently of which, as a Memory Clinic Practitioner at the Eaves at Marrow House. He was a supportive, patient and empathic, dear friend and colleague to many.
Dad will be terribly missed and we are all devastated and heartbroken to have lost a most precious part of our lives so prematurely.
Funeral service at St Mary's Church, Bucknall, on Tuesday 28th May at 12 noon, followed by cremation at Carmountside Crematorium.
Will relatives and friends kindly meet at the church.
