Sending my love and prayers to Moira, Anita, Stephen, Philip, and your entire beautiful family.

Denis was a beautiful man, kind and with a great sense of fun - some incredibly funny childhood memories growing up during primary school with Anita.

You are all in our thoughts.
God bless.

I’m writing this on behalf of my dad, John Sawyers as well as myself. I’ve known of “Dennis” all my life with one hazy memory of sneaking into a meal at our house in Marple with my mum and dad, Dennis and Moira and Vin and his wife.

In my head they kind of became the three Amigos, running to school collecting the next on each road corner.

What were hazy memories though have become a much more in focus picture thanks to the incredible support Dennis, Moira and Vin provided as my dad, John faded away.

I know it’s maybe not easy to read, but Vins words when dad passed comforted me….

“John is the first one of us to see heaven”

I believe now there is a tennis ball being kicked about up there as they regroup to decide which shirt number they are taking.

Much much love
Thank you Moira (and family)
Keep in touch
