James EarlJONEShas died aged 93, it's been announced.
The Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award-winning actor passed away at his home in Dutchess County, New York. James was known as one of the world's greatest actors both on screen and onstage.
The actor, who made his film debut in Dr. Strangelove (1964), is known for a number of roles. He notably voiced Darth Vader in the Star Wars franchise and Mufasa in the Lion King film series. His other acting credits include films like Coming to America (1988), Field of Dreams (1989) and The Hunt for Red October (1990).
