James RonaldJONESJimmy died suddenly but peacefully on 18 September 2024 at the Royal Liverpool Hospital aged 88, surrounded by his family.

Jimmy is to be reunited with his wife of 66 years, Avril who passed in August 2021. Jimmy was adored by his daughters Avril and Julie, and was greatly admired by Avril’s partner, Tommy and Julie’s
husband, John. He was the precious Granman of Bobby, Sophie, Jessica and Julie and devoted Great Granman of Sebastian, Jenson, Harrison, Jude, Sadie, Florence, Penelope, Liam and Leighton. He is survived by his only remaining sister, Flo.
Jimmy will hold a special place in the hearts of his nephew John, niece Linda, extended family members, neighbours and many friends. Jimmy led a wonderful, well-lived life. He was married to his one
and only love, cherished his daughters, worshipped his grandchildren and doted on his great grandchildren. He enjoyed life to the full, no more so than when he was following Liverpool Football Club home, away and in Europe. He has left us with
special memories from our time together, and our many trips around the world. He gave us all a lifetime of love, laughter, song and stories to tell.
He will be so missed by all who knew him.
“And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make”

His funeral will be conducted by his family at his graveside on Monday 30 September 2024 at 1.20pm at Anfield Cemetery. Then at 2pm, a celebration of his life will be held at Eights Lounge,
Liverpool Football Club.

Family flowers only. Dress code - Informal.

It was a pleasure and a privilege to have known Jimmy. We would meet up many times at the match and regularly in the Grove Pub swapping stories and offering opinions. Will be sadly missed. YNWA. Bob, Peter, Graeme, Paul, Alby, Jon & Andie

My Granman. Where do we even start? The man who dropped everything to take us where we needed to be. The one who woke us up at silly o clock each morning just so he could serve us breakfast in bed with his big infectious smile. Adored by us all and will be missed more than he could ever have imagined. Love you my Jimmy jones, my Granman. Your Sophie xxxxxx

"C'est la vie . That's life my baby girl. Don't cry" the word's you said to me the day you were told what was happening.
These past 3 years have been the years we really got to know one another. I would not change one single day of it.
You.live on through my children and my nine grandchildren.
