SonjaJONESSonja was a hairdresser, then went in to retail and
worked at Kendals in Manchester.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking,
travelling and socialising with family and friends.

Sonja leaves behind her husband John, daughters
Samantha, Gemma, sister Beverley, son-in-law
Damian, grandson Sonny, nieces and nephews and
her life long friend Anne.

A service will be held on Thursday, January 30 at
Burnley Crematorium at 3.15pm, conducted by
Kathy Unsworth.

Family flowers only, donations to Rossendale
Hospice. Donations can be made online at
www.fredhamers.co.uk (tributes and donations.)

Sonia was a lovely, classy, funny and caring person, I have know Sonia for about 22yrs when my son damian starting seeing Gemma her youngest daughter and welcomed me into the family with kindness she was a fabulous mum and later on a great grandma to our joint grandson sonny. She will be sadly missed by her family and everyone who got to know this lovely lady rest in peace now Sonia Christine x
