21/2/25 we lost a very special man and heaven gained a star, a true gentleman, with the best sense of humour - even until the end. I was lucky enough to call him my Grandad 🍀.

A soul mate, devoted husband and bestfriend to my nan, married just over 60 years. A man who always looked after his family, worked hard all his life, loved his rugby, steam trains and garden 🏈🚂⚘️

Without Me
'When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see'.
If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much that you wouldn't cry, the way you did today. While thinking of the many things, we didn't get to say. I know how much you love me, as I love you. And each time you think of me, I know you'll miss me too.

But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand.
The angel came and said my place was ready, in heaven far above and that if have to leave behind all those I dearly love.

So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart. For everytime you think of me, I'm right here in your heart ❤️.

Grandad is at peace now, he will be sorely missed and will be in my heart forever ❤️. I know you'll be looking down on us, looking after us all, especially Nan. Rest in peace.
