Gwen ElizabethJONESAged 87 died peacefully in Bronglais Hospital on the night of the 23rd of June.
Gwen the eldest daughter of Catherine and William Jones. She was very much loved by her parents and her departed brothers John, Morris, and Gwyn. She continues to be lifelong loved by her sister Cassie.
Gwen touched many lives with her boundless love. Those born into her light being siblings, cousins, nephew and niece. Those brought into her light through matrimony. Those she accepted as sunbeams and god-children. Those found in her life through work and friendship. Those that became part of her life from the congregation of her beloved chapel.
None were cared for more or less than another. Gwen a lesson in the capacity of love.
The family is thankful for the kindness and care of the people of the area she held so dear. The land that made her also made the safest place for her final years. First when she needed the support to come home to 10 Faenol Avenue and then to the joy that she had living at Llys Cadfan.
Her faith carried her through her last breath and we again lean on her example of fortitude and belief to guide us onto the lights she lit on our journey through the gift of life.
