It was so sad to hear of Auntie Pat’s passing
She really was a larger than life character in all our lives. There is not a day that goes past that I don’t think of at least something she said or did that impacted my life in some little way.
From playing tennis, to swimming in sea, to getting up and doing jobs in morning before having a breakfast, to getting out into the world and making friends with a big smile and friendly attitude.
She was close as a 2nd mum, Jan and I could ever have, and I feel lucky in that sense that I had two great mums.
Her stories, wisdom, attitude, guidance and open and very honest (sometimes brutal) feedback were just part of an extraordinary special lady
Seeing her last September was a highlight of our trip and there was no way we could have seen anyone or gone anywhere in North Wales till we’d seen Auntie Pat first! 😊
And whilst it was very sad to wake up the other week and hear of her passing, I am so pleased that she passed away peacefully at home and in company of family
RIP Auntie Pat, you helped make the world a better place for being in it. Love Jonathan, Krissy, Finn and Cai xxx
