DoreenJORDANDoreen Jordan (nee Thompson) age 87. Passed away peacefully on 15 March 2024 in a nursing home, after being cared for at home and in Oldham Hospital. Thanks to all involved with her care. Doreen was a much loved wife of the late John, loving mother to Paul (RIP), Carol (RIP), Julie and Gary. A much loved friend and mother in law to Alan, Elaine, Maureen and Gill. A loving Grandma and Great Grandma. Of Failsworth formerly lived in Withington, Manchester and a retired employee of BBC Manchester. Doreen was loving and caring with a fabulous smile that brightened everyone's day and will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral Service at the Hollinwood Crematorium on Friday 12 April 2024 at 2:00pm. Family flowers only please and donations if desired to Francis House Children's Hospice Didsbury. I remember Aunty Doreen as such a lovely chatty person who loved a good chin wag with her friends & family. My last memory was of her chatting cheerily and being very settled in her home when I visited with my Mum.
Will be remembered fondly.
