Dr. Geoffrey StephenJOYCE80, theoretical physicist and avid amateur botanist for over 60 years, died suddenly but peacefully on 18th June 2021 at his home in Sevenoaks. Geoff's lifetime interest in physics resulted in the publication of many academically acclaimed research papers written both during his long career at King's College London and in retirement. Geoff's passion for physics was equal only to his passion for wildflowers, an interest that stemmed from his childhood in the Yorkshire Dales. Geoff is survived by his wife Dr. Vicki Joyce and his two children Amanda and Mark. Geoff loved and enjoyed being with all his grandchildren. Private family funeral.
