GraemeJUKES(London formerly of High Heaton) Peacefully at home on 11th April with his loving family by his side aged 69 years. Graeme. Dearly loved Brother of Michael and Valerie also a beloved Uncle of Andrew and Ryan and Richard and Samantha. Graeme will be sadly missed. Cremation at West Road Crematorium on Wednesday 28th April at 1.3pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers to Macmillan Cancer Support. I met Graeme in 1978 when I went to work in Wayleaves. We agreed and disagreed about art, music and life, we fell out, made friends again, went shopping and told each other secrets. And we maybe did some work. A' lesson too late for the learning' now, but my regret is not keeping in touch with my old friend. I hope he found good things and good people. Thinking of him and all his family today. RIP Graeme xxx

I have fond memories of working with Graeme in Wayleaves, Stephenson House in the mid 80's. His passion for classical and jazz music was always a talking point. In a much appreciated attempt to broaden my musical tastes, he even recorded some of his favourites for me on cassette tapes - if anyone remembers those! To this day I am still a big fan of jazz music and will always be grateful to Graeme for introducing me to Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Rest in peace Graeme.
