MichaelKAYLEYMr Michael Kayley passed away peacefully at home in Haslingden on Monday, June 21, aged 76. Michael worked for many years as an electrician. His job took him to various places throughout the county and beyond, where he made many friends. He enjoyed the job and the craic. He loved playing golf with his friends, but his greatest pleasure was watching his sons play football and rugby, and hearing about his family’s achievements. He was a loving husband to Hazel, dad to Mark, Lee, Michele and Marie, devoted grandad to Luke, Rhea, Elle, Millie, James and Flynn, and an amazing great grandfather to Indie, Isobel and Sam. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. A Requiem Mass will be held at 10am at St Mary’s Church, Haslingden on Friday, July 9, followed by a burial at Haslingden Cemetery. Family flowers only please; donations in Michael’s memory can be made to MIND and Rossendale Hospice c/o funeral director Caroline Holden-Dewhurst for Johnson, Durning and Woods, Haslingden.
