I met Pete through may late husband Phil Cribb in early 2023. Miraculously, after a sixty year break, Pete and Phil met up again at a shinty match in Glasgow where they both lived. As young shinty players, they were in opposing teams, Pete for Beauly and Phil for Lovat though this never interfered with their friendship. When Phil took ill, Pete visited him on a regular basis and they would discuss many a topic.
Pete was a thoroughly lovely and genuine friend and I am grateful they had the chance to reconnect.

Sleep well Pete, rest in peace. X
