ShirleyKEMPSONOf Booth Crescent, Waterfoot, passed away at home on September 1, aged 88 years. Prior to retirement, Shirley worked at Fearns High School as a cleaner (domestic help). Shirley loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Wife of the late Harold, Shirley leaves behind her sons Paul, Jon, Karl, Shaun, Grant, Virgil and daughter Sharon and their wives, partners and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral will take place at the chapel based at Fred Hamer Funeral Services on James Street.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 2, with prayers at the chapel at 1pm, conducted by Reverend Derek Allen, followed by a service at Burnley Crematorium at 1.45pm.
